Wouldn't want to depend on either of them for the future. Given the choice, I'd take Goff. We know what the Rams and Fisher were like last year. There is a chance that Goff surprises this season.

The chances of Tannehill surprising us decreases every year.

Well the Goff owner doesn't have a good QB for his super flex, he currently has Goff and I was gona see if he wanted to do a deal involving those 2 guys.

Think I should just hold him then?

So here's the thing.....Goff is/should be relatively cheap right now in a SuperFlex league...unless the owner is going to go down with him no matter what.

Goff HAS, HAS, HAS to make an improvement this year (throwing for more than 150 yards and actually winning some games) otherwise, I could easily see him getting benched for Mannion and McVay drafting a QB next year.

The guys at Football Outsiders loved Goff coming out of college, he had college stats that most good NFL QBs have but is his horrible play the result of Jeff Phisher? Or is Goff just not an NFL QB?

Tannehill should have a little more leash and probably has another couple of years of playing....Goff right now is boom or bust to me based on his play this year. His ceiling would blow Tannehill's out of the water but can McVay turn him into Kirk Cousins?

I cannot come up with a scenario where I would select Goff unless there are handicap points credited each week for starting a member of the Rams.

Sorry, I missed that your league is superflex. So Tannehill is a starter on your team.

IMO, Tannehill's job may not be much more secure than Goff's.
Also, you are good at RB but your roster is paper thin at WR, and have zero picks for 2018.

For a 10 team superflex league, I'd guess you are not truly competing this year. It is possible that Matt Ryan and your RBs carry you, but I'd say chances are against it.

I'd give some thought to trading Tannehill for Goff, but would want some 2018 draft pick(s) thrown in.

Tanny isn't great, but Goff just looked terrible last year. I guess he can still improve, but I'd rather take my chances with Tanny.

For the next 3 years - Tannehill, no question.
In 3 years, going forward from there - who knows. I guess Goff because of age.
