Championship team, then and now

Postby outrage » Tue Jun 23, 2015 5:14 pm

I won the league last year with the following team:
Rodgers $175, Sanchez $12, Cousins $8
Bell $91, Murray $150, Vereen $27, PT $6, Helu $3, Hyde $40, Greene $7
AB $92, Nelson $74, Hilton $26, Hopkins $54, Evans $45, Tate $1, Allen $23, Wright $1, Latimer $25
JT $1, Fleener $14, Rodgers $1, Green $2

I actually have made a ton of trades since:
1. 3.12, 4.06, 4.12 for 3.03 - Didn't need the extra depth, and it saved me some cap space.
2. Latimer for 2.03 - Not a huge Latimer believer and I liked the talent in the early 2nd (was eyeing Dorsett).
3. Hopkins, Murray, 3.03 for Lacy, Bryant, 1.12, 2016 2nd - A HUGE trade, but I really wanted Lacy with his great salary ($78) and I had the WR depth to lose Hopkins.
4. Bryant and 1.12 for 1.08 and 2016 2nd - I probably lost this trade from a value standpoint, but Bryant's contract was up and I wanted to use a contract extension to lock up Lacy instead of extending Bryant.
5. 2.04 and 2016 4th for 2 2016 2nds - Dorsett got sniped right before me and I also had 2.03 and didn't feel like I wanted both picks, and I feel like this was pretty good value.
6. 2 2016 2nds for ASJ and 2016 3rd - I like ASJ and thought this was a fair price for him, especially since I had 5 2016 2nds at the time.
7. JT for 2016 1st and Freeman - Wanted to trade JT while his value is still somewhat high, and getting a future 1st plus Coleman's handcuff (who I drafted) was nice.

Rookie draft:
1.06: Parker - BPA. Also wanted another WR after trading away Hopkins for Lacy.
1.08: Coleman - I'm a Coleman fan.
2.03: Winston - Could have went one of Johnson RBs, but I needed QB depth and I like him.

Free agency:
Josh Hill $28 - Wanted extra TE depth after trading JT, and I think Hill for $28 is a solid price.
RG3 $15 - As above, wanted more QB depth and he was a cheap option.

Current team:
Rodgers $184, Winston $30, RG3 $15
Bell $96, Lacy $78, Hyde $42, Coleman $40, Vereen $29, Freeman $37
Brown $97, Evans $47, Nelson $77, Hilton $28, Allen $24, Parker $40, G.Tate $1
ASJ $32, Hill $28, L.Green $2
2 2016 1sts, 3 2016 2nds

I'd appreciate any thoughts, comments, or criticism. Just wanted to share my team and maybe spark some discussion.

Is this a 10 team league or a 12 team? Also is it Leveon Bell or Joique Bell? ... If this is a 12 team you look like you're about to win the championship for the next 3 years. True powerhouse team. You have studs everywhere and young guys ready to take their place when they're gone. Good job.

Great position even if 10 teamer.

Guessing it's l. Bell since he's your first rb listed.

Also, from your moves it doesn't look like you built this by taking advantage of some weak owner / used actual skill.

Good job
