Aaron Jones ($6) or Juju ($42)?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Aaron Jones ($6) or Juju ($42)?

Postby ajf235 » Mon Dec 24, 2018 3:27 pm

I got Chubb, Guice and Golladay for $18 combined on a $200 budget so I’m def keeping them. But thinking of trying to trade Aaron Jones ($6). I have one more keeper slot and would rather use it on another WR so I can draft Saquon and not feel guilty. I just don’t trust Aaron Jones long-term because of his injury history and draft pedigree. But Juju isn’t $36 better than Jones right? It’s 10% increases every year. AB, Julio, Odell, TY, Amari, Cooks and Diggs, are basically the cream of the crop of WRs that will be available in next year’s auction class and I could either get one of Julio/AB/Odell for $60-70 (or two if I choose to keep jones) or spend $40-50 for a guy or two like Amari Diggs or TY, which is about the same as I’d pay for Juju. I just have a gut feeling that Juju is gonna take off (more so than Diggs or Amari right now) and I’m worried about AB/Julio/TY starting to fade due to age and Odell struggling due to Eli. What do you guys think?

Gotta keep Jones at $6 over Juju.

The alternative: trade Jones for Juju AND another keeper-worthy player who is cheap that the other guy wouldn't be keeping. Then drop Juju and look to re-bid on him.

You're probably right about Juju "taking off" and being a stud, but for almost 25% of the budget, no thank you. I vote for Jones at $6. If Jones doesn't work out next year it doesn't hurt you very much. It's only $6 of $200.

Another vote for keeping Jones at that price. You can always trade him later for someone you like.
