Auction Draft Resources

Postby Vince1104 » Mon Mar 19, 2018 5:38 pm

I’ve been playing Fantasy Football for years now but just joined my first startup auction draft league. Can anyone tell where I can find some helpful resources to prepare for the inaugural auction draft that will include this year’s rookie class.

This league is a 16 team start up. It’ll consist of an nfl like salary cap, contract system with offensive and defensive players. There salary cap is 177200000.00

Thanks in advance

I am in exactly the same position as you, and have found the following two articles so far, that seem to make a lot of sense (maybe more experienced members could advise?):

Reality Sports Online, under "Analysis" deals precisely with this. Also, a new pod where you can ask specific questions is two episodes in: https://anchor.fm/rsopodcast/episodes/E ... 6/a-a1ptlh. @fantasydococ

So you need to have money left over after the auction to sign players? I assume you get a credit for the salary of the player you drop.....
