Slow style rookie draft on RSO?

My league has voted on doing our rookie draft as a slow draft. I am happy to administer this manually over email and then load our picks in afterwards, but does RSO offer a way to do this on the site instead of having to do it off line?

I haven't personally tried it for a real draft, but you can set the pick duration timer quite high. it is in seconds, so I just put in 43,200 and it seemed to take it (that would be 12 hours).

of course, it wouldn't come with automatic email notification so you'd have to probably have owners ping the next guy when they pick (if you do that, I recommend text message with a text sent to you at the same time for confirmation).

Thanks. And I wonder if you can do active trades while OTC. For example, could you trade your current pick while OTC?

that is something that popped up after the owner surveys from last off season.

the way I remember them responding was that they were looking into it, which at least at the time seemed to imply that it was not a possibility. I would assume that until they say they have added that, it isn't possible--given how it's intended to be a quick fire live draft.

Thanks, Goirish. And what about trading picks during the draft before a certain pick is OTC. For example, while the draft is on pick 1.04 could the 1.06 and 1.08 be traded?

hey niceguy, sry i missed this.

yeah, all manner of trading once the draft starts (on the clock or otherwise) was under the umbrella of "looking into it" from that survey last year.

i think that's probably the best way to recreate that style of draft until they formalize something.
