DLF Podcast 201 - Salary Cap Crunch

Postby dlf_kenm » Thu May 19, 2016 12:59 pm

If you are in a salary cap league or even just thinking about it, I'd encourage you to go download and check out the latest DLF Podcast. It's a terrific overview from two guys (Jeff Miller & Dan Meylor) who are experienced and passionate about the salary cap format.

Awesome podcast! I'm in the middle of my first dynasty draft, let alone salary cap league. Invaluable resource for a noob. I've listened 3 times and took notes. Keep up the great work, thanks guys!

I'm hoping bumping this and talking about it will get us more than one a year. My pinned tweet on twitter is pleading for more Salary Cap content. I have had it up for 6 months now.

You know what to do if no-one is making the content you crave... Make it yourself! I'd listen to a dedicated salary-cap/contract league pod.

I don't do podcasts. I come here for all the content I get. I pay the DLF subscription just to donate, because I read less than ten articles per year. The forum is where the real content is.

This subforum does lack interest, though. I've been posting in here for a couple years now, and it's still crickets.

This season was my 1st in Dynasty, after about 20 Yes in redraft. I'm only in one Salary Cap league. Doing a podcast sounds like a good/fun idea. I just don't have the experience behind me to feel comfortable doing one. Anyways I tweeted Dan Meylor, Izzy and DLF podcast about doing some Salary Cap shows this offseason. Here's a response I got from Dan: @randognsac Funny you asked, @FFJeffM & I were just talking about putting a couple together for the offseason. Stay tuned. Jeff liked my tweet to, so I'm looking forward to listening.

Podcasts are great resource to use, as well as the dynasty community on Twitter. I rarely have the time to scour the forums for info I can glean. I can listen while I'm working or around the house, driving etc... Everybody should check some out.
