RSO trade advice: Gio - Crowell

Was offered Crowell (on a 2 year deal) for Gio (on a 3 year deal), on similar year 1 money.
I'm looking to contend for the next 2 years - who will help me the most? It's non-PPR. Player would be for my flex spot, or potentially replacing Gore next year as RB2 (have him on a 1 year deal) behind Lacy.

I prefer Bernard, personally. He may not be the lead back in the Bengals setup but he's going to get a piece of the action. I don't think there's any clarity over what's happening in the Browns backfield at the moment. Crowell probably has the higher ceiling just because he has a chance of being the number 1 guy there, but then I tend to think that God hates Cleveland in some way so if he does become the starting back, something horrible will have to happen.

I guess it comes down to whether you want someone who should put up a few points every week, or if you want to take the low floor, high ceiling, God knows what is going to happen option.
