Hypothetical question here with no basis in real life standing, but if the following was to happen and the Cowboys, Giants and Redskins all had the same regular season record, who is the division winner?
If the Cowboys swept the Giants.
The Giants swept the Redskins.
The Cowboys and Redskins split.
The Eagles won 0 games.
Do the Cowboys win the NFC East?

Re: Playoff seeding question
There isn't enough in this hypothetical to go off. Assuming the Cowboys and Giants share the same record at the end of the season, yes, the Cowboys would win the NFC East since they went 2-0 against the Giants. Head-to-head records are the #1 tie-breaker when dealing with two teams atop one division.

I'm sorry, I seemed to miss the most important piece of the question I was asking:CokeAndBacardi wrote:There isn't enough in this hypothetical to go off. Re: Playoff seeding question
Yup. First tie-breaker for three teams is head to head among them all. In this case, the Cowboys are the only team with just one loss.lostcause wrote:I'm sorry, I seemed to miss the most important piece of the question I was asking:CokeAndBacardi wrote:There isn't enough in this hypothetical to go off.
