Will there ever be an NFL Player with a prosthetic?

Looks like Shaquem Griffin is making a strong case for yes ...

Maybe I've missed one but I dont think there has ever been a Pro NFL player who had a prosthetic. There have been one armed MLB ball players in the past so why not in the NFL?

Thoughts?

I doubt it. I don't know what it would feel like getting hit with a prosthetic arm, leg, hand...but I'd imagine it might do some real damage.

That doesn't mean a player with just one arm/hand wouldn't be able to play though. I've never seen any college tape from Griffin, but did he play with his prosthetic arm or was he not allowed to wear it?

There was a 100% robot with Megatron but i doubt there will be a 80% human and 20% prostethic.

For fun i voted yes. Technology has no limit today.

I dont think he uses the prosthetic in the games no - so I guess I should have worded my question better lol

Absolutely, prosthetics have made big advances in the past two decades with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Could be issues with player safety of course.

Yeah, Griffen doesn't use a prosthetic on the field.

Does robot football on the moon count as prosthetics?
