Raiders trying to clean house?!?!

Postby Risky bidness » Tue Feb 23, 2010 12:38 pm

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Raiders have been shopping much of their roster, including Nnamdi Asomugha.
Asomugha is considered "untradeable" due to a contract that guarantees either the franchise number for quarterbacks or $16.875 million, whichever number is greater. The report isn't all that surprising considering Al Davis' shenanigans over the past half-decade, but the Raiders just don't have that many players with significant trade value. if you're a Michael bush owner, pray he's one of the "many" raiders being shopped!!!

QB - DWatson(HOU)Minshew(JAX)Darnold(NYJ)
RB -NChubb(CLE)DHenry(TEN)JTaylor(IND)Gurley(ATL)
WR -DHopkins(ARI)ACooper(DAL)CGodwin(TB)OBJ(CLE)
TE - HHenry(SD)DGoeddart(PHI)
K - Zurlien(LAR)Crosby(GB)
Def - ARI DAL
[rookie] Haskins(WAS)DSwift(DET)Jefferson(MIN)MHardman(KC)
7th pick in 2021

Rosters must always be 3qbs 4wrs 4rbs 2tes 2kickers 2dst and protected players don't take up a roster spot, but are only for rookie/2nd-year players that were drafted

Not as bad as what Bay Area sport pages would read if Oakland released him...."Raiders Cut Bush"

how does paying your kicker 7 million dollars a year fit into this rebuilding plan?
