Torry Holt

Postby Steelersfan » Thu Feb 11, 2010 3:04 pm

The Jaguars cut future Hall-of-Famer Torry Holt on Thursday, according to Michael C. Wright of the Florida Times-Union.

Our View: At age 33 in 2009, Holt actually had a decent season, reeling in 51 balls for 722 yards. With the man who helped make him what he is, Mike Martz, now calling the plays in Chicago, expect the Bears to take a long, hard look at him.

He was on our waiver wire for the entire 2009 season. No takers...

That could have been because his salary (in our league) was still at the "Big-Game" level and no one wanted to take a shot on a high-priced low-return WR4.

His days of "Big-Game" are over.
