Cowboys vs Vikings

Postby Phish Brigade » Sun Jan 17, 2010 11:21 am

Go!

I expect this game to be close. Hopefully some back and forth action with lead changes. For some reason, I can't shake the thought of watching Romo or Favre engineering a 4th quarter drive with a chance to win it.

If it's Romo, let's hope he doesn't get the hold all jinked up.

I am expecting this to be a one-sided affair with the Vikings running away with it.

wow... after that catch, I must say I am a Sidney Rice believer! And man, Favre pretty much layed that in their perfectly.. of course, if the Cowboy DB woulda turned his head for just a second it woulda been an INT, but we'll just ignore that fact and say go vikes :-)

I must admit I didn't get to watch any whole Vikings games, and maybe only part of 2 or 3 of their games this year, so yea.. I guess I'm late to the party eh? I had saw his praises on here, but thought maybe Farve was making him better than he really is. But I can now see he's a pretty dang talented guy, and hopefully after Favre finally really actually retires, the Vikings find something that at least resembles a good NFL QB, lol.

I was only teasin by the way. I've seen some Rice love, but many people are concerned about him without Favre. So you're not "too late to enjoy the Rice party". But as of today, I'm on the Sid Rice bandwagon.

they are monsters at the home dome this year. I'm looking forward to them stumbling next week in N'awlins.

-oo-

btw - I've been holding Rice in several of my dynasties since I drafted him - I've always been a believer!

I'm sticking by my October prediction of a Saints-Colts SB. http://www.dynastyleaguefootball.com/fo ... olts#67799

The Vikings line is killing the Cowboys line. That's no small task. The only way the Vikes can lose this one is if Childress goes ultra-conservative or they start to really turn the ball over.

Go through the threads of Rice during the pre-season and you will see who the real Rice supporters were BEFORE Favre  the question was never how talented he was, and it was less about his QB as it was about him staying on the field.

I read that this ref crew has called the most penalties of any crew all season.
