Cards vs. Saints

Postby Shawn » Sat Jan 16, 2010 1:22 pm

Cards vs. Saints discussion thread, Boldin is out of action again this week. First team to get a defensive stop wins?

this could be another one of those first-teams-to-50 wins type of games. The only game I picked wrong last week was the Cards - probably underestimating them again like we all did last year.... I think the return of Jabari Greer, coupled with Darren Sharper in the Saints d-backfield will help limit Warner going off like that again....

If they pull Warner for Leinart, they may as well just dress up and go home at the half. That would be ridiculously stupid.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

all underneath passes against a weak rush. even i could look good against that. if warner is done, so are the cards. if rackers would have hit that second fg attempt, sean payton would have looked like a goat.

It was a smart move to limit Reggie's touches this year. Deep down, I knew why the Saints did it... because having a guy like Reggie Bush 100% healthy is a huge advantage in the playoffs. He's a game changer. This is why the RBBC approach isn't going away any time soon.
GDF3
QB- Vick, Freeman, Hasselbeck, Yates
RB- Foster, McCoy, M Bush, Ben Tate, R Jennings, Alex Green
WR- Wallace, TBMW, Colston, Boldin, Collie, Amendola, Washington Roberts, Doss

DL- Abraham, J Smith, James Hall, R Quinn, Keiser
LB- Poz, DJ Will, Vilma, Wake, Rivers, Mays, Irving

That line of thinking by the Saints makes him almost worthless in fantasy then. I shouldn't say worthless, but you know what I mean.

Ya... it was a risk to draft Reggie too early this year. It will be interesting to see what the backfield looks like next year. Do they give PT a new contract? I think they should, but who knows. They probably wouldn't have to pay him that much since he's never really "blown up", so it's hard to say how much other teams would value his services.
