Could the Pats be in the hunt for Boldin this off season?

Doubtful. His price tag will be way too high for Belicheck. I think they will take another shot at landing a speed receiver (maybe this time he wont be 40 years old) to stretch the field opposite Moss and open the middle more for Welker/Edelman

I don't think Boldin's price tag will be that high this offseason. Wouldn't be surpirsed to see him moved for a 2nd or 3rd. They would be better off extending Breaston and letting Doucet play the WR3 role and getting the draft pick out of it.

Sorry, I guess I should have been clearer. The only reason the Cards will trade Boldin is because hes been saying he wants a Fitz like contract. No way the Pats are willing to give up at least a 2nd round pick and spend $10 mil a year to bring him in.
