I prefer the Adams and Wilson side by quite a bit.

Re: Davante Adams Trade
im on board with the adams wilson side, but......jones could be a real suprise here. 10 tds in a season says something. not to mention the limited opportunity. i have a feeling that if he stays on th field that there is top 20, maybe 15, potential here.
Re: Davante Adams Trade
Reasonably even to me. Jones and Adams are a wash. Wilson and Bailey too.

I think the pairings are spot on. All 4 guys are WRs ive targeted or acquired or had at some point this offseason.TommyL31 wrote:Reasonably even to me. Jones and Adams are a wash. Wilson and Bailey too.
Adams
Jones
Wilson
Bailey
In that order for me. I think Wilson is better than Jones but Jones will have more opportunities and the collarbone injury drops wilson a bit too.

I'd much rather have Adams then Jones.

I realize everyone is going to say, oh he owns jones, so he's biased. Do yourself a favor and go watch his tape from last year. He was phenomenal to close out last season. He showed great hands, routes, jump ball ability, rac ability, and a great rapport with his young qb. People are sleeping on him big time. Aside from being he number 4 option in an excellent passing offense, what makes Adams so special?

Re: Davante Adams Trade
Well, if you've seen Adams tape you could say much the same things about his game. He high points the ball, great hands receiver, and has an EXCELLENT Qb. If Cobb leaves in FA, doors wide open next year for Adams. This year, sure, I'll give the nod the Jones. But 3-4 years out. I'd rather have Adams. Like I said, I like all 4 guys in this trade, just have Adams at the top. Skill and Situation (not necessarily this year but that could change as well with one injury)Badger wrote:I realize everyone is going to say, oh he owns jones, so he's biased. Re: Davante Adams Trade
I wasn't trying to bash Adams. He uses his body well to shield defenders, and he does catch with his hands. I would be happy to have him on my team. I was more balking at the idea that he is far and away a better receiver than Jones. I think the majority of people simply see that he had one monster game and brush him off. That is a mistake IMO.BadgerYou wrote:Well, if you've seen Adams tape you could say much the same things about his game. He high points the ball, great hands receiver, and has an EXCELLENT Qb.
