Vereen. I'm finding it harder and harder to come out on top when chasing a troubled player's upside. I used to make a nice FFL living on it, but something has changed. The light just doesn't seem to be going on with these guys the last few years.

Vereen safer but Blackmon has much more upside. If Blackmon was not a knucklehead the responses would be much different. Just depends on if you are willing to risk Blackmon being suspended again in my opinion.

It won't be suspended "again". One more time and he is done. He likely would be banned.
As for pure talent. Blackmon does have a ton of upside but given the risk, you can get him way cheaper than Vereen.

Just made the deal for Vereen. I obviously like Blackmon's upside more, but the risk is too great. Took the safer route...

In ppr I give the edge to Vereen. The risk with Blackmon drops his stock. Blackmon has higher upside but much lower floor due to off field risk factor.

I didn't say Blackmon is cheap. I said you can get him cheaper than trading Vereen for him.
