How much is too much??

12 tm PPR - I have a team where if I make no moves, I'm still the top contender this year and the next few seasons. I have an opportunity to acquire Barkley but it's hefty -

I give: JuJu, D.Cook, Boyd
I get: Barkley, G.Tate

If I make the deal, my team is this:

ARod/Big Ben
Barkley, Zeke, M.Gordon, Henry, Freeman, D.Williams
AB, Diggs, Golladay, Godwin, Woods, Tate
Ertz, Ebron

Also have 1.03 from a trade

We can start a max of 2-3 RBs and 3-4 WRs. So is it worth giving up all that to get Barkley, given my roster??

To steep for me. JuJu and D cook have top 10 potential in their position. But if you love Barkley do it...but again to much to pay for me.

Man I’m so torn. The opportunity to acquire Barkley is few and far between and I have the roster to withstand losing these guys but don’t want to overpay just because I can afford to do it

This is tough, Barkley looks to be a 5-7 or more year guy. I don't see Boyd and Cook contributing much in the league in 5 years. I would do it.

I could care less about losing Boyd. Never been a huge Cook fan either. JuJu is the one that hurts but have to give up something good to get Barkley

I'm leaning towards accepting - being able to roll out Zeke/Barkley/M.Gordon every week is veeeeery tempting with enough backups (Henry, Freeman and D.Williams) to help with injury/byes

That is a scary RB line with nice depth. I think you can get buy with AB Diggs and Godwin. Sell AB high if you can

See if you could swap out JuJu for AB and get it done.. You're definitely giving too much, in my opinion.

X2. Holy crap, this is Barkley we're talking about! If someone wants to sell for that, jump all over it. You've got the 1.03 and AB to work with to rebuild whatever little lost depth is incurred.

In a vacuum, it's a lot to pay. For your team, as strong as it is, I think I'd do it.
