I am trying to gamble on Tyreek and hoping to get him at a discount because of his pending investigation. What would you offer from my team for Tyreek?

He has:
QB: Winston, Trubisky
RB: Bell, Conner, Fournette, Duke, Lynch, J Williams, Dixon
WR: Hill, J Gordon, R Anderson, Tate, Westbrook, Gallup, T Smith, Hamilton, Foster, Taywan Taylor

Looks like hes pretty thin at WR outside of Hill. I would probably offer Alshon/Washington/1.10 and see what happens. Lol

I own hill in two leagues and looking at your roster there’s no way I’d entertain an offer for him but if you wanted to open up negotiations if you offered Guice penny and Pettis that would at least open my eyes to trading him. Everything after that would have to be negotiations but I wouldn’t just delete that off like I would the one you are thinking of offering

That seems rather steep for a guy who just lost his kid to CPS and has a history of violence - at a minimum I think gets suspended for most of the year...

Yeah that is the context for sure, and why Tyreek has lost a huge percentage of his dynasty value. Frankly the reason I am willing to offer so much(Alshon, Callaway, Andrews, pick(s)) in exchange for him despite the huge risk and strong possibility that he will end up worth 0 nothing nada starting any time now, is that I can spare some startable and depth pieces on a contending team to take the gamble, and I wouldn’t hurt that bad if I got burned, unlike the owner I’m trying to buy from, who would be left with no legitimate starting WR(J Gordon, R Anderson, G Tate, prospects) on his roster in any format if Hill were suspended/banned, putting him in dynasty hell for years to come.

And beyond just this news and the immediate outcome of this investigation is that the league will probably suspend him regardless for this bad publicity when I am sure he has been warned by team and league not to have any domestics anymore. And then, forever baked into his future value will be the fact that he is essentially on probation with the league for the rest of his career, and what would be minor infractions for other players could be the last straw for Hill at any time and the NFL could ban him.

I would say with all that in mind he is probably worth about 60-70% of his previous value. And if he beats these current charges he’ll still not recover back to 100% and instead be capped at around 90% of his former value due to the final point above.

Actually, his child being temporarily removed doesnt really mean anything at this point. I would think a judge would issue an order like that with little evidence or based mostly on the presence and severity of the accusations alone (with his history and safety of the child in mind). It is also possible DCF suggested it pending their investigation and he simply complied. I'm not defending the guy, he very well may have committed a crime. Just saying as of this moment we still have absolutely nothing concrete to base a decision on.

I have family that are career social workers. DCS tries not to remove kids unless they feel like there is an immediate/immenent threat.

The fact that the child has been removed from the home is extremely serious and a terrible sign for Tyreek Hill. Believing otherwise is wishful thinking and/or naivety.
