Opinion on This Trade

Postby angeloamos » Mon Apr 15, 2019 9:23 am

Hello all,

Just want to get your opinion on a trade between two teams in my league. Starting Req. in SIG. Was this pretty fair/close or did Team 2 just hand over the championship lol? Team 1 finished 2nd last year. If team 2 was rebuilding maybe the picks were worth it? From my first look it just seems like he gave away two solid pieces for a bunch of question marks. Trying to get an unbiased opinion. Thanks

I would have wanted a different piece than Thielen coming back but your team looks pretty solid now!

Its actually not THAT far off value wise. I would have asked for a 2020 1st or Boyd instead of Drake, but i dont knock anyone for believing in him. He has legit big play ability. Lockett will likely be less efficient this year but should get more volume.

On the other side, a lot of people think regression is coming for Thielen sooner than later.

In short yes, he just boosted dudes chances of winning by quite a bit on paper. But i think his team is in better shape long term now than it was before. Pretty fair trade in my opinion.

Not terrible. Based on a recent thread from about a week or so ago, most value Guice over Thielen (so do I). So the question is, is Drake, Lockett, 1.01, and 1.02 enough for Kamara? I'd say it's close and would depend on team need. I'd probably take the Kamara side, but getting the upgrade in Guice over Thielen makes it closer. In terms of value, I think it's close enough.

Seems pretty fair to me, maybe a slight overpay for Kamara.

I would rather be the team receiving kamara & theilen. Not a bad trade though. Kudos to team 1 who's playing to win. Kudos to team 2 who's playing to win in future years.

Main question was is this fair or not. Yes. It's fair. No, it's not grossly lopsided.

No offense to OP, but I feel posts like this are whining about not getting the deal done themselves and a bit of jealousy.
