Ito Smith Trade

Postby keevictories » Fri Apr 12, 2019 6:02 am

I currently own Devonta Freeman and received this offer from the Ito Smith owner:

Ito Smith
for
Latavius Murray

Thoughts? This would be great if Ito steps into the Coleman role and he is a nice handcuff, but it's possible for ATL to draft another RB.

i didn't like ito last season. ok numbers but watching him play he doesn't look like much.
i think they'll draft another RB too, or get a free agent in (a yeldon type of guy).

murray could be as good as ingram was last year, and you can and should get a lot more from him.

Murray pretty easily. It'll be closer if Atlanta doesn't add someone in the draft, but I think even if Murray is just a strong 1 year play he's more valuable than Ito.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I prefer Murray to Ito easily. Murray should have a role similar to Ingram and if Kamara were to miss time, Murray would step into massive role.

I like Ito, think he was not properly utilized last year. Atlantas line and defense were obviously awful. They now have a new (and already proven) offensive staff. They have much bigger fish to fry in the draft. Maybe they take a RB late but i doubt its anyone with more upside than Ito.

I think Ingram is a much better back than Murray. Dont think its a given that you plug Murray in and automatically get the same amount of touches/production. He may have a decent season, he may not.

Freeman is made of glass.

If i were you i would do this deal.
12 Team SF IDP
QB - Mahomes, Lawrence, Mac
RB - Etienne, Walker, Rhamondre, Javonte, Akers, CEH
WR - AJB, Waddle, Higgins, Gabe, Toney
TE - Andrews, ISJ
DL - Quinnen, Highsmith, Josh Allen
LB - Lloyd, JOK, Gay, Bush
DB - Winfield, Love, Delpit

14 Team 1QB IDP
QB - Fields, Jimmy G
RB - Henry, Kamara, Swift, Herbert
WR - Adams, Juju, Jakobi, Theilen
TE - Hock, Everett
DL - Garrett, Buckner, Sweat
LB - White, David, Okereke, Jack
DB - Budda, CJGJ, Dugger, Byard

I think Atlanta adds a back in the draft. Murray is the much better player and New Orleans rolls 2 backs.
