Kelce Price Check

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kelce Price Check

Postby thomasscheeks » Thu Apr 04, 2019 11:06 am

For team 2 in sig. 12 man full PPR, basic scoring, 1 QB, no TE premium

My team isn't the best.. I have Kelce and could use some RB help, so I'm trying to sell him while his value is through the roof (Gronk retiring). I put him on the trade block but haven't got any offers yet.

I just need some help properly valuing him because I will very likely overvalue him. He's a beast and gives me a positional advantage, so I really only want to trade him away for an overpay. But since I'm offering him up, that's very unlikely. So what is a decent return I could expect for him without letting him go too cheap?

Betcha you could snag some 3rd round startup ADP value for him. Maybe look to a contender and see if he has any developmental prospects he's not using + a '20 1st.

Find a competitive team who is stacked at RB and weak at TE. You should be able to get a top 10 RB fairly easily I would think.

Top 10 Rb for a old as balls Kelce.....No one is paying Dalvin / Chubb / Mixon / DJ / CMC / KAMARA / GURLEY / Zeke / Saquon / Conner for Kelce you're high My recommendation is trade Kelce str8 up for kittle if you can.

Look to snag draft picks for next year and it looks to be a very strong RB class.

Old as balls? lol

He's 29 and TEs usually play well into their mid to late thirties. Are you new to football?

He's certainly past the age apex for TE's, but his production hasn't dipped a bit and he doesn't have a substantial injury history. I'd be trading Kelce under the philosophy of selling when they're at their age apex and name value is at its peak, which is right now, not because I think he's going to fall off a cliff from age.

x2. Trade Kelce a year too early then a year too late.
