12 team superflex rebuild

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

12 team superflex rebuild

Postby slaughterrt » Sun Mar 24, 2019 2:33 pm

12 team superflex rebuild. Have a bunch of picks but was looking to turn the 1.04 into a starting QB via trade. Thinking along the line of Cousins or similar type value. Is the 1.04 enough or should I add more?

The 1.04 isn’t enough for Cousins in a Super. Might ask the owner of Cousins what you would have to add to 1.04 to get him. I would expect at least another 1st or equivalent value.

Yeah I mean I assume one pick in this class won’t be enough. My picks this year:

1.02
1.04
1.09
2.04
2.09
3.09
3.10
3.11

I would prefer to trade a pick or two for an established QB to pair with Watson to build around...but it’s hard to tell here. One team has several QBs while other really cant spare them. I only have one. Would like to make adding a 2nd my top priority this year.

The 1.02 and 1.04 might get it done for Cousins if you think he is worth that price

For the 1.02 and 1.04 I would prefer a younger QB. But 30 certainly isn’t old for a QB.

Rosen might come cheaply right now...you could try 1.04 for him...but it would help to know which QBs might be attainable (on a QB rich team)
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

I wouldn't pay 1.04 for Rosen right now. Mariota might be inexpensive depending on how much the owner is down on him
Too many teams and lineup changes to keep track of them all.

I'd offer 1.02 + 1.09 for Cousins.

How many IDP do you start and are yours elite? I mean no offense, but that WR situation is really sketchy. Any particular reason you want an established QB now to go with Watson? I would think you are at least a few years away from competing (and since you called it a rebuild I assume you think you are as well), so why not use your draft picks to take a QB and WR instead of packaging them up to make a move?

the gist of this thread is off imo. you wanna move picks for a qb whos value is higher than the picks but the picks hold far more value to you. your intentions are misguided imo.

if i had that team my priority moves would be trading watson for a "less sexy" qb and another piece of help (firsts, good young players, etc), i would also move bell right away and aim for maybe chubb or again anything that can help elsewhere (bell for goff, wentz, or an elite wr that will still be in the league post rebuild), i would trade zeke for a kings ransom 1 player at 25 ppg is great but 3 at 15ppg while your team is junk is better. you need to look for 1 for 3 type trades, not the other way around. aiming for cousins you are looking to move 2-3 pieces for 1 and that can only be good for a rebuild if you are giving up fluff for substance (such as a pair of 2nds and a good player in exchange for a great player)
