Yeah I tried trading him for a 2nd rd pick but nobody wants him for that. So, I will try to do two 3rd rd picks now and see what happens. I have Patrick Malhomes and Lamar Jackson as my other two qbs in a one qb league

Devil's advocate... I'd sooner hold him and try get value for L-Jax, if you're desperate for more picks.

I'd say the odds of either of them working it out long term are about even. It still wouldn't surprise me to see Mariota resurrect his career on a new team with a good quick-read system / coach. Likewise, it wouldn't surprise me if LJ put it together this year with an offense that's tailored to his game.

But above all else, you'll never start either of them so long as P.Mo is your QB1, so I say take the value and ride Mariota into the sun and hope he signs with the Patriots next year. You can always draft Tua if none of it works out.

If you’re going to cut him anyway then of course take the 3rd. I’d have to see your roster to say with any certainty that there aren’t any others I’d cut before him, but generally speaking, he’s not worth much more than a 3rd in a 1QB league.

Agree on Rudolph, Williams and a D/ST. Justin Jackson vs. the 3.11 is a toss-up. Sadly, Tyreek might be droppable by August as well.

Regardless, I would try packaging those later picks in the 4th and beyond to try to move up with the earlier picks. Even if you only move up a spot or two, it’s better than wasting them.

Mariota isn’t worth much in a 2 QB league, much less a 1 QB league. I have serious doubts he’ll ever be the guy for any NFL team.
