Gus Edwards value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Gus Edwards value

Postby srlarson » Sun Mar 17, 2019 9:05 pm

To be honest didn't follow Balt last year at all....Thinking they are a dumpster fire..and will be looking for a QB again soon as Jackson not the real deal.... but Ingram signed there...uuugh.... but now the Edwards is looking for draft pick comp...... Have traded successfully with this owner....so just trying to guage...he is open to to 19, 20, or 21 pick.....so any ideas.

I have the 1.01(from this owner), my 1.06, 2.07, 3.07, and 4.07......

successful trades with this guy wk3 2018 traded M Williams for what became 1.01
Then acquired L Bell for 2020 1st and 2021 3rd.

Edwards is a good story because he was undrafted and had a good season, mainly all in the second half of the season but I wouldn’t pay much to acquire him. Maybe a late 2nd or early 3rd, at best.

Yeah Edward's is worth a 3rd or 4th maybe. Just like Lindsay, he's just a good story from 2018 that will not hold much value moving forward.

Nothing to see here. With Ingram in town now Edwards isn't worth a hill of beans.

I’d disagree. In that run heavy offence I can see Edwards and Ingram being used as 1A and 1B. I’m definitely not selling for a 3rd considering his stats last season. Hold him for now. Worth the shot over a random 3rd.
TEAM 1
Dynasty PPR 1QB (12 Team League)

DEF - Bills, Vikings.

Rookie Picks: 1.02, 2.02, 3.02, 4.02 and 5.02.

TEAM 2

Lamar needs to learn how to throw or it won't matter. I see Jackson's first year like Kaep. It will get stale quick, unless he can be an actual passer, and I don't think he can, but that's just my take. I'm thoroughly unimpressed with him other than athleticism.

I agree, Jackson's passing leaves a lot to be desired. That does need to massivley improve although I can't see that this year as they have NO WR's! Lost their best 2 already in Crabtree and Brown.

I would value Edwards at a 3rd or 4th but not interested in paying that

With the amount of running the ravens are going to be doing I can definitely see Edwards having good value. I would let him go for a high second but not anything lower than that.

I'd offer your 3.07 for Edwards. If that's rejected and you really believe in Edwards, I'd offer 2.07 for Edwards + 2020 3rd.
