David Johnson trade?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

David Johnson trade?

Postby Pete Carroll's Gum » Thu Mar 07, 2019 11:31 am

I have a handful of RB2s on my roster. Should I try to turn them into DJ? Maybe Drake and mack for DJ? Suggestions on if/how I should go about it.

Thanks!

See what Coleman and Drake can get you. I def would not move DJ for that but it may not be far off.

Highly doubt Mack and Drake get it done. Drake holds very little value in the dynasty trade market currently imo.

You could try and do something like Mack, Coleman, & Taylor - but depending on the owner I could see ppl declining that as well. Really depends how they feel about Mack, and if they think Indy is going to add an RB.

I don't think you have the depth for pull off a consolidation trade for DJ unless you're willing to move some of your bigger pieces, BUT, if you move you're bigger pieces you won't be able to field a strong starting lineup. All in all, I don't think this is the right type of deal based on your current roster and starting requirements.

If anything I'd prob look to do the opposite, and move Julio for a few younger upside pieces.

Who do you think I should go after in a Julio deal?

I would never move DJ for offers being discussed, but they aren't bad to the extent of being insulting either. Have you talked to DJ owner? Are they down on him?
