Aquiring Chris Carson

Several weeks ago the Carson owner offered Carson for Corey Davis. I declined and he then asked for Golladay. Again I declined. Initially I wasn't all that interested in Carson since I believed Penny could eventually take over the backfield. But I do think Carson is quality back that I could roster. Can you guys help me with a counter offer? My roster is listed below. I own the 1.03 and some late Rd picks 5.03 6.03. he has all is picks starting at 1.04. He needs WR help, Some of his key pieces are: AJG, Cooper, Kamara, Guice, Mixon, OJ Howard, Ertz, E. Sanders, D. Foreman ( not key but a player that interests me). Or should I just leave Carson alone?

Davis is a significant overpay. Golladay is a massive overpay. If that's how he values Carson, I see no point in countering.

I've made my fair share of low-ball offers, sometimes people take the bait. I don't want to walk away because of that. He's a good friend of mine so I know we can create a more logical offer

This is not something I would pursue but if you like Carson and have not problem trading Davis you could ask for his 1st with Carson. You could figure out a throw in on your side if that is what it takes.

He will send a counter tonight, I'll keep ya posted. I wouldn't want to send much more than that though. I don't really need Carson but I'd like to have him with Penny.

Don't think you need send anything else at all. He might try push that pick back but stand firm you've offered good value to get your guy.

Let him know you will be willing walk away because at this point he's just seen increased offers and probably thinks you will keep going.

Have you thought of sending him Penny? Something like Davis, Penny, and your 1st for Kamara as a starter? It won't get it done, but it might get him thinking in a different way. You could end up with Guice.
