Trading up in Rookie Draft

The owner of the 1.03 draft pick has it on the trading block and I have a decent amount of draft picks to trade if I want to move up. This is a 10 team PPR league. I own picks 1.09 - 2.01 and 2020 1st (probably late) and 4 2020 2nds.

The owner of the 1.03 offered me 1.03+2.07 for 1.09+2.01+2 2020 2nds (both should be early). I haven't done much moving up in drafts before but this seems like an over pay to me to move up to 1.03? Am I off here?

What would be a good counter or should I stick with my picks and draft BPA since this draft is so muddy and there could be good value at the end of the 1st?

Really depends on the rest of your team. Seems a little steep for that move in this current draft class.

Additional information for my team, I am set at RB (CMC/Barkley/Mixon/Zeke) and have decent WR depth but this is my biggest weakness. Was orginally planning on taking BPA at 1.09 and maybe Fant at 2.01.

He's not budging unfortunately. I tried offering Hamilton instead of the 2.01 but he said he would only do it if I included James Washington. So he's asking 1.09 + 2 2020 2nds + James Washington for 1.03 + 2.07 now.

I'd pay that to move up to the 1.03, but agree with countering first and trying to remove a 2nd.

Easy pass. Too expensive for my taste.

I would try trading the package (or part of it) for a proven commodity or younger prospect that has flashed.

so, the 1.03 deal seems done....offer the same package (minus one 2020 2nd) for the 1.02....who knows, it might work
