First start-up of 2019 hows it look?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Is it 12 teams? Who was your first round pick? I don't see any player on your team that I'd consider a first rounder, and by the lack of picks in the rookie draft, and not a ton of depth, I'm wondering who you took? Gordon?

@what pick? I have not seen him go in the first at all, I think you possibly could have moved back a bit to get him.

I think it's decent, as a start up I can see this being a borderline playoff team. WR is a little weak for my taste in PPR mind you.

In PPR I'd have Gordon as an early 2nd rounder. I'd guess you were somewhere in the middle and went Gordon, Allen, DJ, Jones? Unless you traded up, DJ or Allen in the 3rd is a nice grab.

Your team looks like a solid bet to make the playoffs. Your RB's are in pretty good shape, as are your QB's. WR needs a little help and TE is your weakest spot. I have not done a start up in years, so I have no personal experience, but all in all, I think your team is in a solid spot to build on.

thanks for the input guys. i got DJ in the 3rd i traded up a little but gave up very little as it was only a couple spots. I guess im too high on gordon the dude just seems like a stud rb to me. hoping for dj moore to develop into a solid wr2 sometime in the foreseeable future.

i like the team. needs a little better wr2 and wr3 and needs some TE help but in general looks like a pretty strong team

id package the 2.04 and a player like williams for a more high end WR if possible. he will just be super boom or bust imo

To be honest, it's OK. I don't see that team, as it currently is, making the playoffs. I think you probably either just miss the cut, or just make it, so somewhere in the 6-8 range. It's a full point PPR and your WR's are weak, and your TE's are non-existent.

I'm not a big Wilson guy, he's too inconsistent. But he's a top 10 QB still.

I like Gordon and DJ, but I'm not huge on Jones, and I'm not sure why you even bothered to draft McCoy. I would rather spend that pick on someone with more upside. I think McCoy is done.

I like KA as a WR1, but as much as I love Moore, and I do love Moore, I think realistically it's more likely he finishes as a WR3 this season. Everyone behind Moore are more depth players than starters for me. In a full PPR, you need at least one more stud WR ahead of Moore.

TE is pretty awful. Is Reed even in the league anymore? Pretty sure he should be in a hospital somewhere. I like the talent of Gesicki but the Dolphins threw him the ball maybe one time a game. There might have been a game where he got the ball twice. Ricky Seals Who? Pretty sure Eifert is on the permanent IR. I like the talent of Butt, but (See what I did there?) he's going to need a lot more time to develop.

I really do wish you the best, but Melvin Gordon is about to be 26, David Johnson is 27, KA is about to be 27, Reed is about to be 29, Eifert is about to be 29, and McCoy is about to be 31.

So you have a lot of win now type of players on your team, but I don't think your team is actually going to be competitive. I would try selling players like McCoy, Reed, Eifert, and all your bench players at WR, and try to upgrade to a WR2, and a solid TE. Or in a year or two you will be selling all of your stud players and rebuilding.

Good Luck!
