I hate my team

Startup was last year and not a lot went my way. 12 team ppr superflex. I think I had the 1.01/2.12 spot in the startup. Didn’t really like the spot but couldn’t trade out of it. Ended up with a team that I didn’t hate, but didn’t love.

Also it is a devy league with two rounds (almost forgot).

My team:

Wentz/Stafford/Bridgewater
Cohen/Chris Carson/Duke/McKinnon/Royce
Keenan/Ridley/Golden/Mike Williams/John Brown/Josh Reynolds
Kelce/Ebron/Jordan Reed

Devy : N’Keal Harry / Anthony Johnson

WTF do I do with this team?

I mean if you really hate it, I'd blow it up now and just rebuild.

Move Carson while his value is good. Trade Kelce while he's still the best TE in football. Take advantage of Ebron's great year and sell him high. Move Tate. Sell Keenan. You've definitely got some pieces to move. Go ham and have some fun.

Move Tate and Ebron. Combo in some draft picks to land someone solid. You could sell 3 1st rounders for a high end WR or RB

I think I am going to blow it up. Problem is that when I announced I was blowing up my team, my league mates took it as “send lowball offers for my solid players”. So...I will keep trying but it’s easier said than done. The other problem is that since it’s a devy league, the rookie pick values are washed down a bit. How much I don’t know, but with 20ish devy guys taken already, the value just isn’t there as much as it would be as a lot of top prospects were taken already.

But yes, I am gonna for it had blow it up. Any suggestions who to target? I know who I would like to move from my team, but not sure who to go after.

Here would be my targets: 2020 1sts and 2nds (as many as possible), DJ Moore, Guice, OJ Howard, buy low on guys like Penny, Kirk, Washington. You've got the players to trade away, now you just gotta get proper value for them.

Devy leagues are stupid imo, but many people enjoy them. I mean with that roster you have no choice but to blow it up, however the hyenas in your league see this as well, and like a bank needing a bailout they will only offer you the most horrible terms. I'd consider leaving the league if I didn't care about who the people were.

I guess I don't see why you really hate this team. Your RBs need work but you have pieces to work with. I'd look to move around a few guys but not totally blow it up. Just my thoughts though

I don’t think it’s a terrible team, I just don’t really like a bunch of these guys - other than maybe Wentz and Ridley. I know I know, I drafted them. But I drafted in value. And I guess blowing it up might sound a little extreme, but definitely gonna try to move on from a bunch of these guys

If you really dislike your team, would look to move Carson, Ebron and Tate for sure. Go with some flyers/young pieces and start a mini rebuild.

Wentz. It being a superflex i didn’t feel I had a choice. He was and still is one of my top 3 dynasty QBs so I have no regrets on that. Although just about every other pick care down to value over my personal preference.

I don't think you need to blow it up. I do think you need to work on your rbs.

I would sell Kelce whilst he has value as the TE1 - to a contender. You should be able to get 2-3 really good future pieces - being Devy, I would target some of the more studly guys coming in 2020 and 2021 - Jeurdy, etc. Don't ever tell your league that you're blowing it up. Rather, approach contenders and ask them if they're "win now". Phrasing is everything...

You'll need an RB1 eventurally, but you should build through your WR's and QB's. I just completed an asset grab mini-rebuild year... it was really fun. I sent a "top 5 RB" in Mixon for Mahomes before pre-season, I scooped Guice post-injury, ditto Hunter Henry, I took Chubb in the draft as a guy that was talented but buried, I drafted Lamar knowing he had the most work to do but the highest upside... start making those moves with an eye to the future, always talent first. It's a different kind of challenge, but it's fun.

Whenever you can, consolidate 2 mid-tier assets into a stud. Playing this way, you'll probably be the team with the most bubble spots - means you can trawl the waiver wire and get there first on any guys that are intriguing. I found MVS and Tre'Quan for free, sold 'em to a WR needy team (DThomas / Sanders owner) for the 1.07 a month ago. Stuff like that. Enjoy the hustle!

Trades and rookie drafts are imo the two most fun parts about dynasty leagues. If you hate your team; trade whatever you can (but don't low sell) for as many 2019 and 2020 1st and 2nd round picks. Your team will be a bunch of pylons for a few seasons but if you hit a good number of picks you could have a dynasty on your hands.
