Kerryon vs D Henry

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

The perceived gap is small, but I will take Kerryon. Drake was drafted high, has a great line, and has done very little. That Tennessee signed Murray and White has to speak about Henry as a player. Despite coach talk, I have to respect the fact that in three years, he has not been given touches or been very fantasy relavent, so I would be uncomfortable with him until they do.

Johnson also has a good line in front of him, but I am certain of the Lions committment to give him plenty of touches. He is also a better receiver.

I like KJ over DH by a high second round pick, but I would not trade Johnson for Henry and a high second, but it would be a fair trade in my opinion if I did.

Imo Kerryon = Henry + Late 1st

Kerryon had a solid rookie season and looked like he had the potential to be a RB1 before he got hurt. The Lions want to run the football so he should get plenty of opportunities to keep growing.

Henry has had a very disappointing start to his career from a fantasy perspective. He has shown flashes of being an elite RB1, but I'm not sure he will ever really be consistent enough to be anything more than a RB2. He is the type of back that needs 20 carries a game to wear down the defense. He came on strong at the end of the year so the hope is that the Titans decide to feed him, but the Titans offense isn't really one that gives me a lot of confidence.

I know I'm on the extreme ends of the spectrum for both of these players, I value KJ higher than most and Henry lower than most. Until I see a consistent usage for longer than 3-4 game spurt of Henry I have ZERO interest in him at the price many are valuing him at. KJ on the other hand was absolutely fantastic from my point of view and I'd value him ahead of Michel and will be very surprised if he isn't an RB1 next year with even higher upside. I don't think anything less than a very very early first would even peak my interest between these two.

This. Early mid-2nd is the most the gap should be, IMO.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

While I think an early 2nd + Henry is what most in the community would consider to be "fair," there's not a chance in hell I'd give up my share of KJ for that. It'd have to be a min of 1.05 + Henry for me to even consider it, otherwise it's an easy decline.

Basically one can catch, the other cant, which is a problem in today's NFL.
