McKinnon Pick Value

I've seen a few threads about McKinnon but nothing that gives a pick value. What do you think?

I MIGHT give a mid second for him. That's about it. He's never been the lead guy in his career. And he's about to be 27. I sold him halfway through last season for Penny and an early third, which turned out to be the 3.03.

Mid / late 1st seems about right, but McKinnon is a guy whose value is very different from owner to owner.

I'm a Mckinnon truther and even I can't justify paying more than an early/mid 2nd for him at this point in his career. Shanahan's offense has always been RB fantasy friendly but Mckinnon is turning 27, coming off an acl injury and the 49ers can possibly opt out of his contract. Plus Breida looked good enough last year to easily split the workload with McKinnon and that's without them possibly drafting a RB this year.

Thia is how i feel to and the poll pretty much reflects as so. I'm trying to move him and lindsay and it's the same with lindsay as well.

If I can sell him for a 1st right now I would do that, but I am only buying for a mid 2nd most likely.

If he's going to an RB needy team without a top 5-6 pick you should probably get a late 1st for him.

Not sure non-RB needy teams use a 1st on him.

I paid 1.06 for him when he signed for him after FA last year. But would value him as a late 1st

Lower than the 2.4, unless you're playing in a best ball. I can understand being in on Mckinnon for systemic reasons, but I don't see anything to get excited about him as a player at this point in his career to get excited about. I also think people are writing off Breida too soon. He averaged 6.0 yards per touch last year, good for 7th among RBs.

I would gamble with a mid 2nd for sure and would sell for a 1st. I would value him at a late 1st.

It's amazing to me what people think of him. I drafted him as a rookie or something. He was a good 3rd down back in MIN, but when he filled in for AP he was complete trash. Gerhart outperformed him. I let him go and basically wrote him off. Going to SF was somewhat intriguing to me but I still had major doubts. Then a major injury... And somehow, he still holds more value to this day

I'm surprised as the overwhelming mid 2nd. Dude was legitimately projected to catch 70-80 passes last season. No I don't believe he's a bellcow but I do believe the Shannahan System is one of the best for RB's and especially kind to a great receiving back. They didn't pay him good money for no reason. 150-175 carries 70-80 passes and 5-8 Td will equate to a solid RB finish. What's not to like about that? Anyone worried about Breida doesn't understand the SF offense and how their RB's will perfectly coexist. Breida was pretty darn good but is on the smaller side for RB's and showed he probably shouldn't carry the ball more than 220 a season as he was banged up after every single game. He was a fantastic runner but he left a lot to be desired in the receiving game.

That SF offense is going to start clicking sooner or late and that means soid fantasy outings for any RB involved.

Breida: 220/1,000/8 30/250/2
McKinnon: 175/750/5 75/700/3

Just off the top of my head but that statline wouldn't surprise me. I'd gladly pay the 1.09 or later for McKinnon. Anything before that I start to hesitate because there does seem to be some really intriguing players in the mid 1st. Also the age 27 argument is pretty valid but for 2019 I'm going to be drafting McKinnon everywhere I can in redraft because I'm already seeing ADP of him going in the 6th round. Backend RB1 in the 6th? Yes please.
