sammy. i will be shocked if carson is the lead back in 3 seasons. i wont be shocked if sammy is a still opposite ty hill in 3 seasons. longevity and his role in his current offense make me say sammy.

Carson by a 2nd for me. Watkins has done absolutely nothing in years. He always injured and has only 2 big games a year, which leads to a complete lack of confidence in starting him.

I am of the same thinking. Not sure how Watkins carries any value still at this point. Carson has a starting gig to lose, which he has shown all year he has no intention of doing!

this time next year he will be 26 years old and playing wr2 for the chiefs (under contract), catching passes from patrick mahomes who just threw for 50 scores this past season.

That's...that's not how statistics work. You know he missed games due to injury right? Look at his PPG.

That said, Watkins's injury issues is exactly why he's not valued much higher right now. There's plenty of risk in both Watkins and Carson, but I'll take the no. 3 guy on the most efficient offense in the league.

Watkins will have name value and will probably always be worth more than Carson. Carson can very easily out-produce him next year, but we'll continue to think that someone else is eventually going to take over and Sammy is going to stay healthy and be consistent. So I guess if I were to move Carson for Sammy, I'd only do it because I'd want to flip him for something better.
