COOPER VS Pettis +

Postby Seth26 » Sat Feb 02, 2019 3:29 pm

Got an offer this morning. I am not real high on Cooper but I want to make sure I don't get low balled. This is for team 1 in my Sig.
I give Cooper
I get Pettis, Curtis Samuel, and the 1.08

His players of note
Watson, Conner, Gordon, Woods, Landry, Z Jones, Lindsay, Michel, Gus Bus, RoJo,
2019 1.08 a mid 2nd and 3rd

Is this a close offer for Cooper? I do like the idea of have Pettis paired with Jimmy G. But I want to make sure I get the right amount for cooper. Thanks in advance!

That’s crap! If you are going to move Cooper I’d say you should do it to shore up your RBs. Maybe Cooper/3.03 for Michel/Pettis might work

Not even in the ball park. I wouldn’t even respond to this offer.

Definitely a lowball offer, but I could easily see the package paying off. I'd hold out for more/better offer

Pettis is extremely talented. He has that natural burst and running ability and returned a ton of balls for tds in college. His route running is A1 and could arguably be close to top 10 in the league. That being said his value is still extrmely low right now as it should be. I 100 percent agree with what’s above. Offer is Crap. Try getting michel for cooper but adding something in to grab Pettis as well. You won’t regret it.

I'm not a huge fan of Samuel. Can you get Woods + Pettis for Cooper?

i dont think its a terrible offer im kinda surprised by the number of crap offer comments in here. cooper was decent but not outstanding. he had 4 blow up games that gave him good end of season numbers. hes the type of dude you play each week but had someone better on the bench over and over until you bench him then he blows up lol (go look thru his career to date). pettis is a skilled route runner and i think of him more like a cooper kupp that will see steady volume underneath/intermediate but likely wont wow you a ton with 100 yard games or 2 and 3 td games, but will be a very reliable ppr option as a wr3 or flex. 1.08 i am warming up on with liking about 5 wrs and 3 rbs, still kinda early but that picks value grows by draft time, if you dont like someone you could flip it. i like curtis samuel a lot too he showed real promise in year 2. funchess on the way out and samuel role growing in the second half of the season gives me real reason to believe he could be a viable fantasy option in 2019 and beyond.

No, that's a pretty poor offer. And I'm saying that as someone who likes Pettis and not as high on Cooper as most.

Whether or not the offer would work out is obviously different from whether or not it is a fair market value. Two different questions.

If your goal is to get the best market value for Cooper, then no, that is not a deal you should accept - and I would concur with those in that it would not be close enough to the ballpark, for myself, to counter.
Please speak to clarion contrarion before considering the use of vetos..
