Re: Gap between CMC & Barkley?
May be slightly biased but I don’t think there is much of a gap, if any. McCaffrey is a little less than a year older than Barkley so Saquon has that advantage I guess. But on the field there’s really not much difference. I have two teams and one of them has McCaffrey while the other has Saquon. Not sure I’d take any less for either guy if someone approached me for either in a trade. I think both those two are the two strongest players a dynasty team can be built around right now.

Re: Gap between CMC & Barkley?
I think there is, though. It's hard to argue we haven't seen CMC's ceiling, but I don't know if we've seen Barkley's. I'd want an early/mid first on top of CMC to move Barkley. I trust Barkley to produce at an elite level for years, not sure I can say that about CMC, because he will never be an elite runner of the football.Pantherbro13 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:04 am May be slightly biased but I don’t think there is much of a gap, if any. Re: Gap between CMC & Barkley?
Disagree, I don’t see how you can say we haven’t seen Barkley’s and have seen McCaffrey’s. McCaffrey put up much better numbers in college and would have had 2K yards this year as well if he wasn’t pulled after the first drive of the week 17 game. The age difference is less than a year and McCaffrey doesn’t have an elite WR1 on his team to take attention from him. He proved this past season he is an elite runner of the football, among the most elusive in the league. Majority of people said he couldn’t run between the tackles and he proved them wrong. Fully expect Carolina to upgrade the OL this offseason only to help McCaffrey continue proving his doubters wrong.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:43 amI think there is, though. Re: Gap between CMC & Barkley?
I disagree as well, I think this past season is pretty much the ceiling for any RB in the modern era. 24-26ppr ppg is as much as we've seen from RB's since the days of guys carrying the ball 350 times a year. I can't imagine expecting anything more from either one of these guys, I think Barkley's insanely high receptions was due to how bad the offense was and Eli having .5 seconds to throw or get sacked but I also think that held Barkley's rushing totals down and perhaps TD totals as well. I also don't think CMC will carry the ball anymore than he did this season but I'd be surprised if his receptions aren't consistently in the 90-110 range each season.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Feb 02, 2019 11:43 amI think there is, though. For a guy who doesn't own either in any league and wants to own both lol I probably wouldn't add anything more than a very early 2nd to CMC to get Barkley.

This. I don't see a big difference between the 2 players
Re: Gap between CMC & Barkley?
A late first. CMC is great but Barkley had a 2000 yard season (from scrimmage) in his rookie year with an atrocious line and overall awful team. CMC had a better situation in his rookie year and didn’t come anywhere close to what Barkley did.
There’s reason to believe Barkley will take another step. CMC is probably at his max.

Re: Gap between CMC & Barkley?
Did you see the Panthers OL in 2017? Nothing about what they put on tape for the running game had CMC in a better situation than what Barkley had. CMC had the better QB, that’s about it.Mrowmix wrote: ↑Sun Feb 03, 2019 8:58 am A late first. I'd give a mid first to upgrade to Barkley, I think Cmac over achieved this year and Barkley is only just starting to show his rushing talent.

if all 4 of you guys would give up first round draft capital for a swap of 1b for 1a then id take that first off your hands a hundred times out of a hundred. makes no sense at all to me.Gator Sens wrote: ↑Sun Feb 03, 2019 6:46 amThis. I don't see a big difference between the 2 players
