MT for Evans, Hilton

Postby jonf86 » Fri Feb 01, 2019 10:10 am

This is for a 12 team PPR TE Premium Superflex League not in my sig

What kind of piece(s) would I have to add to Michael Thomas to get Evans and Hilton. I think the Evans/Hilton owner is rebuilding. I have 3 2019 2nds, no 2020 1sts and 3 2021 1sts
QB: D. Watson, T. Taylor, J. Driskel, J. Johnson, C. Rush, N. Sudfeld, M. White
RB: C. McCaffrey, C. Carson, K. Johnson, R. Penny, J. Samuels, D. Pumphrey
WR: J.J. Smith-Schuster, R. Woods, L. Fitzgerald, J. Nelson, M. Gallup R. Switzer, B. Berrios, C. Batson, R. Higgins, J. Kearse
TE: G. Kittle, I. Thomas, J Doyle, W. Dissly, J. Leggett, J. Gresham, T. Conklin
16 Team Dynasty (PPR). Lineup: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, TE, FLEX, SFLEX
2018 Champs

QB: M. Stafford, J. Garoppolo
RB: I. Crowell, J. Williams, A. Abdullah, C.J. Anderson
WR: C. Godwin, D.J. Moore, W. Fuller, M. Valdez-Scantling, D.J. Chark, E. St. Brown, J. Kumerow, R. Higgins, C. Meredith, J. Kearse
TE: D. Njoku, H. Henry, C. Herndon, G. Everett, I. Thomas, J. Leggett, W. Dissly
14 Team SuperFlex Dynasty TE 1.5 PPR and .15PPY, WR PPR, RB .25PPC and .5PPR, QB: 4 Point TDs

I would say that Thomas + early 2nd = Evans + Hilton.

Thomas and a mid first might get it done.
I wouldn't.
I'm big on Evans and like the upside there with the new coaching staff and Winston just now turning 25.

Never said that. I think there's a value gap between Thomas and Evans, albeit not a huge gap, unless you're saying that you would sell Thomas for Evans + 2nd?

A 2021 1st doesn’t have any more value than a 2019 early 2nd to me. I think both are light. Unless your trade partner wants multiple lower value picks, you’ll probably have to include a piece that has already shown something to get 2 top wrs for 1.

I don't think Evans is to far off from Thomas tbh , And if I was in a win now I would pay around a 1.01 for Hilton... So I would think a mid 1st added to Thomas side.

Nobody is. He's saying that's a fair deal. He is factoring in Thomas>Evans in his evaluation, obviously. I think it's a pretty fair deal, but I'd rather have Evans and TY if I'm competing than MT and a 2nd. He says the other owner is rebuilding, however so moving TY would make sense as a rebuilder.

i wouldnt add anything to thomas or evans for the other player. so i was treating those as offsetting, thus equating the 2nd to hilton.

I offered MT and 2.02, 2.05, 2.06 and 4.01 for Evans and Hilton and got rejected.

What about MT for Ertz and Hilton. Would anything have to be added to MT? TE Premium scoring is 1.5PPR

Following the previous posters lines of logic, the gap between Hilton and a 2nd is greater than the gap between Evans and Thomas in my opinion. I would Imagine Thomas and an early/mid 1st may get it done.

I would just walk away. Contrary to BigBawseRoss, I think Thomas > Evans by a fair bit, like a late 1st or early 2nd. I wouldn't have even offered the deal that you said was rejected.

I have Evans > MT (b/c of my perception of talent and 'can-produce-without-a-QB logic'), so anything where I get juice on top of Evans for my MT is a no-brainer.

Regarding the other idea*, I wouldn't add anything to MT for Ertz/Hilton. As wary as I might be of MT post-Brees, I still think he has much more long-term viability than either Ertz or Hilton. I'd probably need something like a mid-1st on top of those two for my MT.

*TE premium scoring isn't the boost to value that most dynasty owners think it is. Don't buy into it.

I think MT>Evans by exactly a mid/late 1st somewhere in the 1.07-1.10 range and for a team rebuilding Hilton can't be worth much more than the 1.04ish IMO so whatever you think it would take to move up from the 1.07-1.04 which is probably an early 2nd is the only offer I'd make for this but that's just me.
