Straight up MT vs Kamara *poll*

Postby Bot101 » Mon Jan 28, 2019 7:38 pm

So I've been in talks to get Kamara for MT straight across. Team and starting requirements in sig. Who do you like?

Kamara for your team. It’s a toss up and really whoever you like more. Even if it becomes taysoms team later on they’ll both be focal points. But it lets you worry less about rb and draft bpa as a potential flex or bye week filler
Team2- 12 team, PPR/IDP -- 29 roster
1QB,2RB,3WR,1TE,1FLEX --2DL, 2LB, 2DB, 1FLEX

QB- ARod, Carr
RB- CMC, JKD, Edmonds, Conner, Penny, D Williams (KC), Hubbard, Evans
WR- Kupp,Deebo, DJ Moore, AJB, Mooney, Sutton, N Collins, Q Watkins, Treadwell, Wesley, Hamler
TE- Andrews, H. Henry, Kmet
DL- Judon, Crosby, J Allen, Oweh
LB- J Brooks, E Jones, K Barnes
DB- V Bell, J Abram, J Holland
Picks- 8-12 range 1,2,3,4

I'd rather keep MT. 3 WR and 2 flex... I love those 4 WR you'd be able to plug in every week. Going to 3 RB and 3 WR means you'd he thin at WR, and you have to start more of those.

You'll still have a flex "hole" either way. I'm sure someone will emerge to be flex worthy for that spot... Just not sure who yet

Yeah the starting requirements make me think that as well. But RBs are just treated like gold it seems like.

It’s an even trade but it would be hard to pass up starting those 4 WRs you have. It’s close enough though I think it would just come to personal preference.
10 Team PPR
1QB/2Wr/2Rb/1TE/2Flex

QB: Herbert, Stafford
RB: Bijan, Walker, Ekeler, Charbonnet, Singletary
WR: Chase, DK, ARSB, Godwin, Samuels, Wan’Dale
TE: Andrews, Goedert

Yeah unless its a landslide one way or the other I'm just going to sit tight. Just wanted to make sure I wasnt overthinking anything.

Kamara is the better .5ppr play by a good margin imo. Also, not sure mt will be as efficient if it isnt brees throwing him the ball.

Good point. In my league.

MT - 261 pts
Kamara - 318.7

Ideally you want to be flexing high end rbs

I love both these players dearly, and would not advocate a trade either way for you. But one consideration is that there isn't much better that MT can play given the year they just had. That was an all-time efficient season, and Brees was still mostly on top apart from a late season swoon.

On the other hand - if Ingram walks, we could see a full season of Kamara in that Gurley-esque usage from the start of this season. The question will then of course be "can he hold up".

I agree with Jigga, though - given the format, you are better off retaining that 4 WR1 punch imo.

Kamara makes more sense for your team. If everything was even, I'd probably take MT slightly ahead of Kamara, but very fair deal.

Give me Kamara here mainly because I think he’s less dependent on his surrounding situation than Thomas, and given Brees’s days are numbered, I think situation will end up being the difference between them.

kamara for your team but MT for dynasty value and value in a league where you must start 3 WR.

think its pretty fair.
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp
