Im starting to feel like OBJ is a sell. Never finished a full season, Eli likely back for 2019, off the field drama. Someone made me an offer for him. Team in sig.
Give:
OBJ
Higgins (throw in)
Get:
DJ Moore
1.07
1.08
Baker Mayfield or Hunter Henry
I like the idea of having some draft capital to move up or trade out to 2020. Thoughts?

Re: Batting away OBJ
You have the depth at WR to move Odell for sure. I really like you adding Mayfield in the deal. I think you may be able to get more for him but with Mayfield, I think that is a pretty solid deal. I'm not the biggest Odell fan anymore though either.
Re: Batting away OBJ
You should be able to get more back...or at least more proven pieces. Those are all mostly a bunch of question marks and don't really help your team this year. You're set to compete, so no point in getting picks and developmental/unproven pieces.
Re: Batting away OBJ
I think you can do better, but it's not the worst deal. I bet he will have a good few games in a row next year where you could sell for more legitimate pieces
Re: Batting away OBJ
He also has (that Id be interested in)
Cooper
Fournette
Guice
1.03
Cooper
Fournette
Guice
1.03
Re: Batting away OBJ
He wont do the 1.03 and Cooper. Ive already tried that avenue.
Re: Batting away OBJ
Honestly seems like a doo doo offer to me, especially in a 10 team league.

x2 I wouldn't even sell Beckham for Cooper + 1.03

Re: Batting away OBJ
Yep. Hes digging his heels in. Now wants Mixon for Guice and the 1.07. Were done.
False alarm. Sorry everyone.

Re: Batting away OBJ
If you want to move OBJ I would try and make a lateral move for another stud rather than a bunch of pieces.
Try and get JuJu and something small thrown in. Or throw something small in on your end to grab someone like McCaffrey.

Re: Batting away OBJ
The juju owners team is in complete disarray not to mention hes fairly inactive. I was hoping to just spend a stud to get a cache of 1st rnd picks and players I am high on to add depth while selling a player I just have a bad feeling on.

Re: Batting away OBJ
If this is your goal, then the offer that you have accomplishes it. Yes, you might be selling low. But, your feeling is that OBJ (a) isn't going to command what he is "worth" right now, and (b) is likely/probable to fall even lower. Is that right? If so, then this trade might be what you need to take if you are committed to moving OBJ now.
It's not awful. It's just likely not optimal. But, sometimes, as they say, perfect is the enemy of the good...
