Few offers and counters

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Few offers and counters

Postby hockeyBjj » Wed Jan 23, 2019 10:14 am

I put my 1st and D Henry on the trade block looking for a WR, and this league's new owners are pleasantly active

I got one offer of Robert Woods for the package, I felt I can do a little better but am letting it sit out there

I got another offer of Corey Davis for that same package, I'm trying a counter of Corey Davis and Andrew Luck for 1.7 and Henry and seeing what that gets. What's the Corey Davis Consensus? I liked his talent coming out but hate the Tennesee and Mariota situation and CD doesn't have the talent to rise above that.

After a few counters, I also have an offer to someone of the 1.7 for Kenny Galloday and waiting to see if he accepts or not

Kinda looking for advice if this is the right avenue to be going down on these

I like the Davis and Luck offer if it gets accepted. I'm going to assume the Golladay one is rejected.

This comes down to whether or not you believe in Henry. It's a tough call. I'd probably let it sit as well, though I feel like Woods was a buy-low last offseason but is becoming a sell-high this offseason. I would think 1.07 alone would be about fair for him.

I'd say that Davis = 1.07, and Luck > Henry, so this would be good.

Good luck with that. It would be a huge win for you if that gets accepted, but I highly doubt that it will.

Yeah, the 1.07 for Galloday was declined. Not sure if I added the 2.2 if that would get him to move Galloday

The Davis and Luck was declined as well, he counter offered Davis and a 4th for 1.7 and Derrick Henry and I feel like I should be getting something more than just a 4th on top of Davis for that package

I'm not a huge Davis fan--. But Davis and a 4th aren't nearly enough for D. Henry and the 1.07

Yeah of all the options I'd just add Henry to the 1.7 for Golloday as I have him well above Davis and Woods

I think Davis against the 1.07/Henry is pretty close. Henry has neen over valued for years with the expectation of multiple games like the few he had last year. The 7th pick doesn't hold that much value atm...the 7th pick this year is nothing compared to that of last year.

Early days tho...no need to rush anything...altho 7 and Henry for Golladay would be nice.

I'm still a big believer in Corey Davis but unfortunately he is tied to Mariota for now which is not good. He could still turn into a very nice piece down the road. If you can swing getting Golladay, I would go that direction. Another good year and the price for Golladay will be huge.
