Kirk or M Williams

Postby CooperCrush » Tue Jan 22, 2019 9:11 am

What is the difference between Mike Williams and Christian Kirk and who do you value more. Was offered Williams and 2.10 for Kirk and 3.2. I am honestly not sure of who has more value going forward??

I'm a huge fan of Kirk, but I think Williams is slightly ahead of him.

I know many were down on Williams coming out and felt he was overdrafted, and I'm no film expert, but I really liked what I saw of Williams. I think I'd go Williams, but I don't think there is a wrong answer here.

I'm invested in both in various leagues. I was very high on both, and consider them basically even. Williams probably has more TD upside, and Kirk has more yardage and receptions upside IMO.

Right now Williams is a tiny bit ahead because he's had more flashes and is tied to a solid QB.

Williams is probably worth more right now, but not by a lot. I think Kirk has a shot at being the team's #1 guy though, so I probably would prefer him straight up. Williams won't be as consistent and will have plenty of competition.

pretty much this^

Think they are about equivalent at the moment.

I think Williams has a safer floor due, but Kirk has a higher ceiling.

Just depends what you want, do you want that safe mid WR2 with Williams, or do you want to take the risk that Kirk will be a productive number 1WR in the Arizona offense.

I'll give a slight edge to Kirk due to being two yrs younger, and with an emerging QB instead of an aging one. That said it's prob a 51/49 split.

Also in any ppr league I would prefer Kirk, while I would want Williams in standard.

I like Williams by a lot. He did well in what was technically his rookie year since he spent most of his rookie season injured. The only draw back is how much longer will Rivers be elite?

kinda bizarre trade, ignore the picks and see who you like more, no way i would let a 4 slot move impact any decision.

think williams is set as a red zone/big play type weapon, think kirk will see more 7+ catch games. no faith in rosen at all though, he was flat out bad.

if going for a title in 2019 i pick williams, if needing a wr2 for future and looking more towards 2020 and beyond i prob go with kirk

Mike Williams for me. I think he is going to come into his own next year. I also think kirk will turn into a very nice WR too, but I feel Williams could be dominate in the future.

For me it’s williams by a significant amount. Essentially sharing a role with Tyrell Williams he was still very productive. I wouldn’t expect tyrell back and for mike to take over a fair portion of his targets. Kirk is a talented player but I can’t see Rosen taking a significant step forward with how bad that roster is.
