Re: Too Much or Not Enough?
He denied the trade. Earlier in the season I sent him a drunken offer of Evans for Johnson straight up and he denied it. I don't know what he wants for KJ. I'm a Lions fan but I don't want to blow up my roster for 1 player.

Walk away. When someone denies an overpay like that, you just have to write that player off for a while

I wouldn't sell Kerryon for that, but I'm not as high on Sutton as most.

Re: Too Much or Not Enough?
Wouldn't be nearly enough for me to part with my Kerryon shares.
This isn't actually that great of an offer:
- Foreman is a flier at best after his achilles injury, and Houston is highly likely to snag an RB (like Ingram) in FA, or in the draft. He's a classic 'sell before the bottom falls out' type of guy.
- The 3rd doesn't move the needle at all.
Making the offer Sutton and Washington for Kerryon.
-Washington has shown very little in Pitt (217 yards and 1 TD), and his entire valuation is propped up on the fact that AB won't be in Pittsburgh...need I remind ppl, this hasn't happened yet, but Washington is already valued as if AB has been traded. Don't get wrong, I think AB will be moved, but weirder things have happened in the NFL then Brown throwing a tamtrum and being back on Pitt the following yr. Also Washingtons trade value is pegging him into that WR2 spot, but what if Pitt draft Metcalf/AJB/Harmon/Harry, then J-washingtons trade value would take a massive hit. There's a lot more question marks here than most would like to admit.
- Sutton wasn't that great last yr, and although it's great to assume he'll develop from rookie to sophomore, we didn't really see a consistent flash from him last season. While Sutton is primed to be the number one outside WR on the Broncos, they could also take a WR in the draft and/or have been a rumored spot to land AB. That kills his value. On top of that, Case has an affinity for slot WRs so Sutton won't even be the most productive WR on the team (it'll be Hamilton) unless they get a new QB.
This looks like a good offer, but after you dive deep on it, it really isn't.
Kerryon was on pace for 1366 all purpose yards, and 6 TDs at age 21, and that was with Blount stealing a ton of work. Now Blount is gone, and they brought in a OC in Bevell that likes to lean on the run.
Kerryon by a country mile.

Re: Too Much or Not Enough?
If AB leaves, it's an overpay. If he's still in Pittsburgh, it's not enough.

Re: Too Much or Not Enough?
I'm Clearly in the minority but Sutton > Kerryon for me and I think Foreman (if healthy) will take that job next year. He's one of my favorite buy lows. Washington is just Cherries.
