Is Penny expected to takeover the lead role in Seattle in 2019? I can't imagine a team drafting him in round 1 to sit behind Carson or be part of a RBBC.
Would an offer of 2019 - picks 2.08 and 2.09 be OK? Or is this insulting?

Yeah, that would be very insulting. I'm not selling him for two late 2nds..... I don't know if he will be the lead back starting out next year, but the guy is talented and he's only 22. He's got plenty of time to become the lead back and have several years of top tier production.

I don't see any reason to move Penny at this point. I'm guessing most people sent an early to mid 1st on him in the last draft. I got him on the cheap midway through the season and I still would not consider selling him at this point.

I bought Penny for an early first, and have no reason to sell for less than that. Not every rookie takes the world by storm. He showed enough for me to hold. He had a few runs where only Barkley and one or two others in the league could make. His talent flashed enough that he's still worth what I paid. He was always considered a bit raw coming into the NFL, in terms of off the ball duties for a RB, and Carroll is obviously taking his time with him. Carson will have a role, and is the lead back going into OTA's, but I suspect a more seasoned Penny will be much more of a factor next year, the talent is there.

Wouldn't accept that offer, but I don't think in 12 years of playing fantasy I've ever been "insulted" by a trade offer. Just reject or counter if you don't like the offer.
