L.Miller/J.Samuels vs picks?

Postby TheGunSlinger » Sun Jan 20, 2019 3:36 pm

12 team/dynasty total rebuild. Was offered 2 2020 2nd rounders for L.Miller/J.Samuels. On a rebuild, take the rbs or the picks?

I'd want to hold Samuels but would be looking to trade Miller for a 2nd in a rebuild

I agree. I have a feeling Samuels takes a significant number of snaps from Conner,.

my god man cmon people. you know miller just earned his first pro bowl appearance right? you know foreman didnt return until week 17 and did almost nothing right? unless houston deems RB a major area of concern i dont see them drafting a back highly, so a 3 down rb on a great team is a sell for a 2020 2nd? come week 10 next year i would bet you can sell him for a late first to a team on the cusp of playoffs or looking to solidify for a title run. also samules just did excellent in a lead role and conner has been banged up enough to make his cuff worthwhile. the role alone is worth a lot. one rolled ankle and you have a must start rb on your hands. idk no way im parting with those guys for some random 2nds next year.

I would hold Samuels if you are in a total rebuild. I would hold Miller to you are closer to draft time and see if you can get a bit more for him or perhaps both 2nd round picks for him. It's certainly a gamble with Miller but if Houston does not draft a back, someone might pay a 1st for him??

In a rebuild, depreciating assets are the worst thing that you can have.

I'll take the picks -- they can't lose value and can easily gain value.

2024: 2.09, 3.07, 3.08, 3.10, 4.08
2025: 2nd (x2), 4th, 5th (x2)
2026: 1st, 2nd (x2), 3rd, 4th, 5th
