CDavis + DHenry for Mixon

Postby ditka05 » Sat Jan 19, 2019 8:45 pm

This is for Team 2 in signature.

Would you trade Corey Davis, Derrick Henry & 2019 3.10 for Joe Mixon?

I won this year and would love to roll Mixon out with my other 2 studs next year. What would you do?

I'd keep the Titans, but I'm still a believer in Davis. I don't see the gap between Henry and Mixon as that much, and you thin out at WR pretty quickly with no Davis.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Not sure the Mixon owner would move him for that but if that owner is in, I would make the deal

I agree that I'd rather roll Mixon out as a starter than hope that Davis and/or Henry become dependable. You should look to add another WR or two to bolster depth though.

I'd take Mixon, but fair. I still believe Davis will break out.

I like the Davis side a touch better in an even deal. I have not heard anybody comment on how Mixon and the new coaching staff will mesh.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Waller, J. Woods, Dulich, Mayer

Team 2: 12 Team SF 1ppr, Start 10
QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins
WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley
WR: G. Wilson, Higgins, Godwin, Kirk, Bateman, Collins, Doubs, Chark, Shaheed,

I think because its near impossible to tell, the new coach is a McVay disciple but is extremely young and doesn't have a long track record but there is optimism a gurley like usage could be in store for Mixon. My thought is that it can't be much worse than it was in 2018 but with a chance of a major upgrade.

Basically this, can't get much worse and there is the hope that Zac can do even a little bit of a Mcvay/Gurley turn around to Mixon.

Boy that roster gets thin in a hurry...value is slightly on the Mixon side, but I just can't make this move...really don't want to be flexing guys like Matthews and Cobb thru byes and injuries.
