Chris Godwin value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chris Godwin value

Postby Gator Sens » Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:37 pm

Where does everyone have Godwin's value? Still a strong hold or move him with the hype of next year being his year? Thanks all

I’d need an early 1st. Even then I might just hold. He’s legit.

I just sold my last share. I don't disagree that he looks good, but the main issue I see is that he is going to be playing 2nd fiddle for years. Evans is the guy, and that isn't going to change. I don't see a JuJu situation where you basically get the targets of a number one, as a number 2 guy. I'd sell for an early first because you have the shot at a guy who could be a number 1, or a RB that could be a lead back. I like Godwin a lot, I think he'll be a solid 2nd WR for quite a few years.

Obvious WR2 position, which can be fine at times. The TE get a lot of love in TB though... At least he is 3rd option with no RB to speak of

Bruce Arians is in town which means if Desean doesnt get resigned, Godwin should be a solid wr2 for years.
As for TEs, Arians has never been one to help a tight end's stock, Howard *should* take a hit. Early first would get my share, but I'm declining mid 1 or worse
