This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

straight Pict trade....

Postby Seattle » Fri Jan 18, 2019 11:31 am

So i am full rebuild with not much on my team.. so knowing nothing else but just value of picks and rebuild would you do this deal.

1.02 (me)

for

1.07,2.07, 2.10, 3.03 and 4,07 (offer)

I also own 1.11, 1.12, 2.02, 2.12 and 4.02

Thoughts and i know top 5 rookies are way better then rest of draft class but would 1.07 be that much worse and then lotto picks to hit on 1 would be huge.
To many leagues to put all teams on here.

Just a big thanks and DLF rules

No....the 2.07 does not bridge that gap. The 1.02 will gain value as draft gets closer so it makes most sense to hold tight unless someone blows you away.

Pass. To move down from 1.02 I would need two mid-late firsts.

I don't think the 1.02 has the value as in some past years, but you still aren't getting enough back to trade it.

anything after pick 2.05 on any given year is typically a HUGE dropoff in value but every single pick inthe first round has a pretty substantial amount of value, 1.02-1.07 is pretty gigantic, That's Chubb or Michel vs Freeman or RoJo from last year.

I guess I am being contrarian here but I would probably take it. If you are trully in rebuild mode then I would make the deal. See if you can get a young player added in.

I'd probably keep the 1.02- can likely get more closer to that draft. League size and settings could factor in- SF, idp?
