Depends on the size of the league. In a 10 teamer both rise to the level of a "meh flex" starting option, so no for me, but barely a no because I trust my rookie evaluation skills. In a 16 teamer I would pay that price stated above, late first for sammy and a second for sterling.

Yeah I think I should keep Sammy and Mahomes combo I kinda like having a QB/WR combo..

You don't think Shepard is a nice hold with OBJ always getting hurt and in trouble with the team maybe they let him go sooner or later lol ?

I disagree on Sammy. He has had two healthy years with a high powered, high passing offense and his production has been meh. Then there was all the injury baggage before that, so no way do I pay a high first for him. If by high you mean at the top of the draft.

I shipped Sammy off for a 2020 1st and a 2019 2nd... Tired of waiting for him to emerge...

Sammy was dropped in my league late last season, I picked him up hoping to use him in a consolidation trade, I'd hold if you have deep benches

Except he was very productive when healthy, in KC this year. He was consistently startable as a high floor WR2/3. He played in 8 healthy games and was on pace for 78/1020/6 from that half season worth of games.

Well They just signed him to a 5 year deal making him the highest paid WR in the league so they aren't moving him anytime soon. Also I think it's unfair to count 2017 season against OBJ, what player wouldn't have been hurt from a tackle like that? So far his only injuries to date was his hamstring or ankle (can't remember) that caused him to miss 4 games his rookie season and his quad that he missed 4 games this season, other than that he's been perfectly healthy as far as NFL players go so I wouldn't bump shepherds value because of a chance OBJ gets injured.

I think anyone wanting an early or even mid 1st for Sammy is dreaming because no one who doesn't already own him will pay up for that BUT I do think like Bawse said he's still only 25 years old and his first year in a new system and was a very servicable Wr2/3 when on the field. He could very well take a big leap forward in 2019 so I'd just hold since you won't get that upside value he deserves.

I think Shepard could be a good buy because he'll be a FA after next year, and won't be stuck behind OBJ/Barkley and competing with Engram as well. I'd rather have him than Watkins, I'd say late first for Step, early 2nd for Watkins.
