We just finished the first year of our dynasty. During our start up draft I decided to draft mostly rookie running backs and I guessed wrong in almost every case. I ended the year with possibly the worst set of running backs I have ever seen.

My goal this offseason was to find some playable rb's and I just made a move.

Get - A. Jones, C. Samuel, 2020 First Rd Pick

Give - A. Brown

Did I get enough for AB? I feel like my WR's will be fine and have a lot of promise even without AB. Any ideas to improve my roster? I am trying to stock pile picks for the 2020 draft.

Lol, no. Not even close. You could have gotten so much more for him.

If the 2020 pick ends up being early, I can see it being a win. AB's situation isn't great right now and by 2020, that pick alone (or Jones alone) might be worth more. For right now, I agree you could have gotten more, but I don't think it's terrible. As for the rookie RBs, give them another year and hope one or two end up producing. Even during the offseason their values will go back up again and you might be able to move them for something decent.

The way I saw it, Brown is killing his value everyday. With how bad my rb situation is and not having a first round pick this year, I needed to get what I could because if he ends up in a worse situation I wouldn’t get anything close to Aaron Jones and a pick. He also turns 32 next year and I doubt he’ll score 15 tds again.

Most players in this league have fallen in love with their players since this is our first dynasty making it that much harder to make a deal.

Brown is only 30, he turns 31 in July. I have no problem with you wanting to sell him. The issue is that his value is worth more than what you got. You could have gotten more for him.
