This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Andy Dalton superflex

Postby Tennisbuck » Tue Jan 15, 2019 5:46 pm

Owners

What’s his value in a SF. I was offered Damien Williams for him. My other QB are Mahomes, Goff, jimmy G, and Teddy B.

I sort of like Williams. Problem is with his recent deal he’s still expendable for a veteran or a rookie.
QB: Jimmy G,Mahomes, Andy Dalton, Brisset, and Stidham
RB: Zeke, Saquan, Dalvin Cook, Guice, J.Hill, and Damien Harris
WR: Diggs, DJ Moore, JuJu, Sutton, Fuller, Paris

We start 2 plus the flex. I doubt Damien plays and probably should holdout for a better offer. I countered with his first 1.07. I would like to parley my 2 first and take josh Jacobs, Rodney Anderson, and my dark horse Holyfield.

I'm with this guy. You don't need RBs and Williams isn't likely to keep the job. Dalton's value could potentially increase with the new offense, so it might be better to hold him for now.

Just because he is fourth on your depth chart doesn't mean you sell him at far below value.

Injuries and under-performances happen -- both to other teams and to yours. If you get a legit offer for him, then go for it. Otherwise, you'll likely be much happier with him on your bench (as added protection to you or to capitalize on another owner's need) than Williams. Not even close, IMO.
