What should I do with this team?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What should I do with this team?

Postby Themissingrum » Wed Jan 09, 2019 2:21 am

Just inherited team 2 in my signature.
I have 2019 1.03, 2.03 and 3.03 and all following year picks.

Normally I would look and say I was stocked at RB but needed WR upgrades but with 2 Flex I'm not sure I want to go that route. Any suggestions?

QB: Watson, Cousins, Mills, Pickett
RB: Barkley, McCaffrey, Foreman, Jamaal Williams, CEH, Kyren Williams
WR: K Allen, Diggs, Mooney, Renfrow Alec Pierce, Slayton, Corey Davis, Terrace Marshall, Thornton
TE: Andrews, Hurst, Hooper
2023 Picks: 1.08, 2.08, 2.12, 3.07, 3.08
2024 Picks: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

12 Team - PPR, TE Premium, SFlex
1QB, 1SuperFlex, 3RB, 5WR, 2TE, 2Flex, 17 Bench, 10 Taxi
QB: Stafford, Mayfield, Lock
RB: Pierce, Foreman, Kyren Williams, Moss, Breida
WR: Chase, Wilson, Olave, Burks, Godwin, Cooper, Ridley, Watson, Michael Thomas, Doubs,
TE: Pitts, Dulcich,, Granson
2023 Picks: 1.01, 1.09, 2.01, 2.09

WR1 is your main concern. The 1.03 should net you a good young WR, but you already have multiple of those. I'd package up that first and 2 WR (Davis/Fuller/Moore) and see if that can't get you a stud from a rebuilding team.

QB you're set for a long time. I wouldn't move 1 of those guys unless for a good deal and I'd need a decent QB in return
RB you have 2 of the top 5, which is phenomenal. Have to hope Guice comes in strong and could be a flex option. He could also be trade bait if you find an owner looking for RB in your WR1 search.
TE I think is solid. In a perfect world, you could go after Kelce/Ertz/Kittle but Howard is good too and between Andrews and Thomas I like your future at the position

Good luck!

The 1.03 should get you the WR help you need this year or moving forward. Your RB's are in nice shape as are TE's and QB's. I would try to package some depth RB's/WR's for another pick or 2 in the later rounds if there are guys you like late. Foreman, Hines and Jackson may all turn into nice depth as 2019 moves along.

I'd be looking to move as many RB depth pieces after guice for picks and or flier WR's. Right now you have few nice young developmental WR's but none really proven yet, you need to take as many shots as possible on WR's in hope of hitting.

QB - you're set
RB - you're set, but depth after top 3 isn't great
WR - good young talent but no WR1 as others have pointed out
TE - None of the big 3, but Howard is good enough and I like Ian Thomas a lot

I like the idea of packaging a WR and the 1.03 for a WR1 if it works. I'd try to send Fuller, Davis DJ Moore in that order (Moore is my favorite to keep).

Also, you have a lot of handcuff type RBs (Williams, Hines, Justin Jackson, John Kelly). I'd try to move one of those guys for a platoon back (committee back) or pass catching back. You would likely have to include a pick but I'd happily send my 2nd with one of those guys to get someone I could start/flex in a pinch. If another team has 2 of the RBs these guys play behind (Gurley and Mack, for example) then they should definitely be interested in getting the 2 handcuffs for an RB3 or late RB2...
Dynasty League (25 man rosters + 2 IR, non-PPR scoring. QB/3RB/3WR/2TE/K/DB/LB/DL no flex)

QB (1): Herbert, Lawrence, Darnold
RB (3): N. Chubb, D. Henry, J. Taylor, JK Dobbins, Pollard, Singletary, L. Murray
WR (3): D. Hopkins, D. Adams, M. Evans, D.J. Moore, DJ Chark, B. Aiyuk, J. Smith-Schuster, R Bateman, E. Moore
TE (2): I. Smith Jr, H. Henry, Schultz, Tremble

K (1): M. Crosby

DB (1): J. Adams
LB (1): F. Warner
DL (1): D. Lawrence

Hang onto your 1.03 and take the best available WR. Trade the 2.03, 3.03, and whatever depth pieces you are not in love with for the best WR you can get. Maybe target someone like Hamilton or Pettis.
10 team PPR league, 24 man rosters, 5 man taxi, 5 man IR
QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
QB: Anthony Richardson, Tua Tagovailoa, Sam Howell, Trey Lance, Hendon Hooker (IR)
RB: Saquon Barkley, Rhamondre Stevenson, Khalil Herbert, Antonio Gibson, Gus Edwards, Jerome Ford, Kendre Miller (TX), Roschon Johnson (TX), Pierre Strong (TX), Tyson Chandler (TX)
WR: Garrett Wilson, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, DJ Moore, Diontae Johnson, Chris Godwin, Terry McLaurin, Kadarius Toney, Jayden Reed, John Metchie, Justyn Ross,
TE: George Kittle, T.J. Hockenson, Chigoziem Okonkwo, Sam LaPorta (TX), Isaiah Likely, Luke Schoonmaker (IR)

Draft Picks
