Trade Sony?

Hey guys, need a bit of help for the team in my signature.

I've been approached for Sony Michel. The only player he won't trade from his team is Kerryon. However he does have Amari Cooper.

Would you move Sony for Amari?

My key WRs aren't getting any younger and Cooper would help. I'm slightly hesitant as our league highly values RB and I don't have much depth after Gurley and Chubb. Especially if Guice isn't ready to start the year.

Absolutely. As a NE fan all of my life I have seen many many RBs. The last RB to have more than two good fantasy seasons in a row was Corey Dillion.

New England is where fantasy running backs go to die. That’s what they say.

However, Things could be changing for the organization with the age of Brady. But I think Cooper is much more sure a bet than Sony to have fantasy success. ESPECIALLY since you have Gurley, Chubb and Guice for insurance.

I would Sell high on Any NE RB. Sony fits that bill as long as he plays his games in Foxboro.

I’d do it. You could use another young WR and you’re locked and loaded at RB. Chubb/Gurley should make an excellent 1-2 punch even if Guice takes a while to get into rythm next year and in 2020 Guice should be at top form. With this trade you’ll have two studs at WR and two studs at RB and excellent options at flex between Amari AJG and Guice. Even if he stays inconsistent I see Amari producing at a Brandin Cooks/Stefon Diggs level at worst in Dallas with a higher ceiling than both.

Plus, Sony’s knee is kinda worrisome and Amari has very little injury history.

I’m low on both players but I’d probably take cooper here because of NE. If Michel was on any other team I’d stand pat

toss up for me. coming around on sony after seeing his usage this year. seems apparent they need to transition to run first (if they havent already made that transition). i do like coopers new home though and think theres a lot of room for growth with a full offseason working with dak. id say go with team need here and if gut says go cooper go cooper, he should last for years to come.

x2 I think Cooper is way overvalued right now, but I'd sell Michel for him and then flip Cooper for more ASAP.

Thanks for the input guys. The owner wants to adjust the deal to include Chubb instead of Sony.

That's a big no from me so I'm going to break off negotiations.

I support that. I like Chubb a lot better than Sony and he and Gurley give you a great one-two punch at RB. Your other RBs (besides Gurley) have too many question marks to give up Chubb.
